So you're ready to book your session!  Awesome.  Here is some information that we will need and how to prepare for your time.

WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THE STUDIO WHEN BOOKING

• What services are wanted?  Engineering, producer, mixing, master, etc.
• Number and length of songs
• Number of people that will be recording
• Number of singers
• What instruments are being played and by how many artists
• What kind and number of guitar rigs
• Does anyone have studio experience?  Any headphone experience?
• Any need for session musicians
• Any specialty instruments/musicians needed
• Drummer-bringing own gear, cymbals, kick, etc.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE STUDIO

• PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE
• Ensure you know your songs inside and out, vocally and musically
• Arrive on time
• Be well rested and sober.  Studio time is demanding and long hours but a lot of fun
• Bring all necessary instruments and accessories
• Don't forget extra strings, pics, tuners, batteries, etc.
• Bring lyric sheets, music sheets, guitar tabs, etc.
• Know what songs you want to record and the order you want
• Bring a drive to take the files with you
• Bring snacks and beverages
• Be prepared to listen to the same song numerous times
